"I won't leave. I promise. I'll stay right here until you come out."

She nodded,trusting Kate. She then carefully made her way to the dressing rooms and,after politely checking if anyone wasn't in one,entered and closed the door.

Kate waited right where she was, thinking of where they could go next in the mall

After a minute,Diana came back out with a large smile on. She bounced over and hugged Kate,with both her wings and arms. The blouse was able to cover past where her hips would be if she had had a full human body. Just the simple thing seemed to brighten her world.

The hug surprised Kate. Once the surprise wore off, she was soon hugging her back

"Thank...you...Thank you,Kate....so...much." She said softly,cuddling into her. "Kate....friend?" She seemed tentative to ask,either she wasn't sure she used the term right or she wasn't sure if Kate just pitied her and wasn't a freind. Her tail twisted in and out of knots quickly,twisting over and over and over.

"Yeah! Of course! How could we not be friends? You literally saved my life during work," she pointed out with a smile

D tilted her head,confused on how she saved her life. "Huh? Save? No,D can't save....only harm." She said,the phrase something that was a broken fragment of what she had been told for years.

"What? No! Who told you that? They're lying. You kept a lookout for animatronics, and if I was the only one there, I wouldn't be alive right now."

She didn't want to say who had spoken it to her,mostly because she couldn't name them all. So she shook her head and thought her happy thought,but it brought little more than a smile.
