He shook his head as his hand dropped, tendrils slinking away and dissipating. "Trust me, if you can now, when I say." He looked right into Ash's eyes, his own turning to those flame colors. "He's still me, I lose a hold on me a lot. I'm not fully Jason, that is the name and normality I took on to push down my self. But every time I lose my hold ... I do more than slip up. My heart is not pure."

He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath and letting out a small puff of smoke. He just about got upset again, no wonder Shade had been scared of his brothers anger. The rage hadn't even gone as far as Shadow.
