"I wouldn't say never." he murmured, shutting his eyes tight as he tried to avoid Ash seeing them flisker to those flaming fire colors.

Ash fell silent, almost expecting him to say more

But he wasn't going to say anything else on it. "I-I think I'll take a walk." He said, eyes opening. They where that ember red with seeming real flames dancing a flaming yellow in the red but then the colors shuddered as they drained away to allow back in the hazel and gold.

"Do you need me to come?" Ash asked, kind of really, really worried.

He nodded. "Please. I just need to let off some steam." He said, though he meant quite literally some steam. A dunk in some water would cool him off.

Well, there was a river half a mile away. "Okay."

He might have to take a dive, he wasn't ganna cool off for a while. Not on the inside or outside. "Thank you." He said, voice still doubled. He made a motion that typically asked Ash to stay close as he started off.

That would be best of him, it was seeming to really warm up his clothes and he actually seemed quite uncomfortable with the heat. He kept taking calming breathings, letting out other puffs of dark smoke.

Ash didn't say anything, but not really uncomfortable with the silence, either.
