He crossed his little front legs as Jason checked his icey under belly then underwings.

It was a miracle they had made it back, and they both seemed mostly fine, so Ash hadn't been too worried. "Can it wait till later?" Ash asked. "I want to talk to you...but not here."

Jason nodded, letting Shade go. "Okay...about what?" he asked as he stood. He gave Shade a look like 'I'm Icing those cracks later' because the little one was poking at some cracks he had under his wings and along their bases. He gave an innocent bashful look then dashed off for his sister.

He looked to Ash, biting his lower lip. "I-It's still on your mind?" he said, a little quieter than he normally would. He tugged at his hood a bit, taking a deep breath as flames flickered around his horns a bit before flickering out.

His eyes flickered to an odd coloration, bright flame yellow and deep ember red, until he blinked and it switched back to his normal hazel and golden flecks. "It's okay, though. So why would it be?"

He put a hand to Ash's shoulder, he seemed to be overheating. His skin was way to warm. "Ash." His eyes showed that just the topic that included their history incidents together pained him. "It is. Please." It wasn't, his heart still hurt. But he didn't see any way that Ash could make it better.
