the raptor looked at her and ran over, easing her into a laying position. then she realized she was in a normal bed. this seemed to be a hospital.

Vex did as the raptor made her do, glancing around and feeling around the bed.
"Where am I exactly? And why did you bring me back here?" She mumbled softly, finally setting her gaze on the raptor.

it seemed to purr and bark at her, before realizing she couldnt understand. it made a sighing noise before holding up a claw and leaving.

the raptor returned with a small, strange shell-like thing. it barked into it, but it came out in echoy human words. *do you understand me?* it asked.
