They eat fish. He sees a few dive into the water and return with some in their jaws. They have sharp teeth, but the sluggish, clumsy way they walk, matched with their floppy, cuddly bodies make the sharp teeth completely unthreatening.

He decided to dive into the water, using his mutiple wing sets as fins to swim. And he wasnt that bad at it.
