Her eyes widened as she spotted all the people- eating, talking, spinning on the dance floor. It was overwhelming seeing so many others and she felt her breath and heart rate quicken. "I-I'm not used to this." she whispered to Li, her hazel eyes wide. "Parties aren't my forte."

Piper smiled before laying down and drifting off to sleep

Li looked down at her. "They aren't mine either, calm down. Take deep breaths. And stand around talking. Works for me"

"Talking?" She asked. "What can people talk about so much? What can possibly be so interesting that you must speak so loudly?" At least, the noise sounded like a lot to her.

Andrew finished the pancake and set about with some chores. When he was done, he sat down and began to study.

Piper still slept. She would groan softly in her sleep occasionally.

"Many are boasting about this they own."

"They sound like my father." She managed a small giggle. "Want to dance?"

Andrew heard the groans, but decided to ignore them, it was probably nothing, maybe a bad dream.
