Ember did what Mitch said, trying to do it in a way that made her float on the water instead of sink.

Orion felt a pang of guilt strike him. Jora had been calm and then he had gone and ruined it. He watched to make sure Jora was at the top of the water and swam to the surface a fair distance away before transforming back.

Mitch slowly removed his hands from around Ember and smiled a little when she stayed above the water. "Ta-da!" He said smiling swimming in front of her.

A'ine was freaking out now. She swam to the shore as close as she dared as a hippocampus and transformed back into a human dragging Jora up to the sand. She was still limp. Ember sat next to her and patted the girl's face trying to get her to cough up the water. "Oh my kelp...oh my kelp... oh my kelp!" She repeated as she tried to read Jora's mind but all she felt was void.

Alderic saw A'ine frantically trying to get back to shore from his far out position in the water and started swimming back to see if he could help.

Ember smiled, and focused on keeping her head above the water. It was strange to her and while she wasn't as scared any more, it was still rather odd.

Orion decided he could only make it worse. After all, it was his fault Jorad practically drowning. And besides, he was a water dragon, not an air dragon.

Mitch smiled back. "You're doing great, Ember. Here try swimming toward me." He said backing up to deeper water.

Alderic looked around as he continued swimming. "Orion! Come on! Jora's hurt! Can't ya do something about water?" He yelled at the boy knowing that he had helped before when she had a panic attack.

A'ine held her knees rocking back and forth not knowing what to do for drowning. What had she done? She was the only reason Jora was out there in the first place. She put her hands over her ears trying to block out all of the voices she was hearing from the lake and school. She was breathing heavily.

Ember started to swim forward, but she remembered what had happened last time she had been in the water, and panicked. She forgot the movements of swimming and lunged awkwardly toward Mitch, trying desperately to gulp for air.

Orion swam toward the shore, realizing he should at least try to help. He yelled at Alderic, "I can't! I create water, not destroy it! I'd just make it worse!"

Mitch saw that Ember was freaking out and grabbed her pulling her toward him. He hugged her a little. "What's wrong?" He asked holding her up.

Alderic glared at him. "Well can't you control it?!" He yelled getting to about twenty feet away from shore. "Besides don't you know CPR or something?!" He yelled crazed.

A'ine kept rocking her hands over her head as she started feeling everyone around her. Everyone except Jora.

A'eda'n felt A'ine was in trouble. He didn't know how but he knew and ran out on his friends scared for her.

Ember began breathing slower. "I'm fine. I-It's just a bit weird swimming. Sorry..." she said pulling away from him, determined to forget.

Orion reached the shore easily with the water's help. "I suppose I could try..." He reached Jora, and checked her pulse, relieved to find it was there. His hands shook as he tried to think of a way to help Jora. "I think I could get her to cough up the water..." he said, placing a hand over Jora's stomach. He hesitantly used his power over water to try to get her to cough it up. (This sounds so strange, but I didn't know how else to describe it. XD)

Mitch looked at her. "If you don't want to do it, I'll sit on the shore with you." He offered swimming close to her again.

Alderic got to shore a little after Orion. He went over to A'ine. "Hey A'ine. Everything's alright..." He said a little scared to touch her.

A'eda'n was out of the school and now trying to figure out where his sister was.

Ember shook her head. "I'm fine," she said, trying to tread water, which she seemed to be alright it.

"I think it's working," Orion said to Alderic. "Do you know CPR?" he asked. He knew it himself, but he wanted to focus on what he was doing know.

Mitch tilted his head. "You sure?" He asked looking her in the eyes, his icy blue ones serious.

Alderic's head snapped up. "Uh.. yeah... Don't you?" He asked looking back at him.

A'eda'n saw a group of people on the far side of the lake and started wading into the water quickly.
