She scoffed. "What are you talking about? I'm sure you have a talent for soccer. If you know practically everything about it, I'm sure that you know how to score a goal or two, or even keep the ball from going into the net."

He shook his head, smile lessening. That dazzling, rare smile. "Honestly, I don't know how to score or block. M-mostly because often you c-cannot predict well what angle someone will be at if they decide t-to jolt the course."

The smile changed his whole face, and she couldn't help but smile in return. "True, but if you have fast enough reflexes you could."

Her smile shocked him a bit, but his smile somehow stayed. That smile did change his face, somehow made him seem so much kinder and softer than he already did. And much more kind and soft than pure angels. "That is also true, but sadly I am not very quick at anything."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that," she said with a shrug. "Maybe there's something out there that you haven't tried that you're the best at."

He shook his head, blond hair swishing a bit. " I highly doubt I am "the best" at anything."

"What about saving people?" She asked, watching him

All hints of his smile was gone now, he stared down. " ... I don't save. " He said softly, it was clear he must have thought himself much like the angels he was half part of.

"Then what do you call what happened at the restaurant?" She asked, noticing how his smile had disappeared and how he was looking down.

He sighed, shaking his head. " If I h-had not, s-someone else might have. I-It didn't ha-have to be me." Now he started gripping that metal band again.
