"Wow... thanks for reminding me.... just kill me.... don't hurt my kids, please." She said, her pure black eyes full of worry.

"At least you know how to fight. Kind of half breed I can actually respect. Heh. Didn't even think they'd back off like that." Scias lowered his tails, electricity dissipating off him into the air as he looked over the Scorpino. He had half the mind to put the thing out of its misery, but instead he just heaved it up, holding it by its hair in his claws. "The vocal cords'll be next. Not going to listen to you beg. You got any information, spit it. We'll kill this entire city's army with you if we have to."

Saras
"Put her down, Exterminator," he said to Scias. He turned back to the Scorpino, and said, "I'm not the kind of monster that murders kids. Tell me where they are, and I will protect them."

"Fine, Daarazi. They're doing a breeding program. They're making cross breds between Scorpinos and E-Vuris. My kids are the first in the project..." She spat.
"Don't hurt my Mama!" One of the kids said in terror.

"I'm no Daarazi," Saras said, holding his breath and drawing his rebreather down to show his face.

"Oh, half-bred." She spat.
Two kids with scorpino tails and snokey hair walked to the wounded Scorpino.
"Who are you?" The taller one asked.

Saras
Saras put his mask back on, and said, "I'm Saras, one of the few that actually care about Earth and Humanity."

"Do you even know why we're here?" The Scorpino said, "Humans could rule the universe, killing any who stand in the way! All we want is for us to be safe!"
"Yeah!" The little one said.
"We're going to be the best warriors around! I'm going to be known as the 'Human Hunter' 'cause I'm going to be so good!" The taller one jokingly said.

"Pretty sure she was talking to me. And I don't take orders from anyone, especially not you, half-breed." He lowered the Scorpino to the ground, not quite letting go of her yet as he eyed the children. They disgusted him, but he didn't intend to cull them here. He'd just have to deal with the source. He finally let the woman go with a bit of a low growl of irritation as he mulled over his options.
"Go. Take your children. We see any of you again, you're as good as dead. Won't be much of a warrior then."

"That won't happen for a long while yet. Humans are not an interstellar species," Saras said, before turning to Scias.
"Considering I just saved your sparky arse, I would expect a little more respect."
