I guess it depends your motive, the tail and ears are very sensitive but the back and neck are pretty safe

"Well. I know they hate monsters and some hunt them and people say that you eat monsters, but I doubt that." I said.

"My motive is that I want to pet them because they sound cute and fluffy." I said.

"Yeah no we don't eat them " she said throwing her hands up as if she had somehow offened you " but back in the day they did use to tell stories of people hunting vampires and werewolves " she added curiously

She gave you a wickedly cunning smirk " oh really now..." she said slyly before clapping her hands together causing a flash of blinding light. when it faded her Hell hound form had taken her place, and was much bigger than she was..... like small pony big.

I let out a breath I had been holding. "Okay good." I said in relief. I shivered. "Those weren't stories." I whispered with tears in my eyes.

I looked at her with wide eyes. I walked over to Kida and went to pet her ears. I remebered that hell hounds didnt like being petted on the tail and ears. I doubted Kida was a exception. I petted her back instead. "So fluffy." I said in amazement.

Lilly Stood up abruptly wiping your tears and stroking your ears in an almost motherly way "You don't have to tell me its okay" she said seeming to understand

She chuckled a bit " Yeah A good shower will keep it pretty smooth and soft" she said with a fanged grin puffing out her chest proudly
