That blast had taken a lot out of Eric, because he was both confused and panicking. Lukas hit HARD into a thick tree trunk, slumping unconscious on the ground. Eric had been blasted into another tree, this time a stump. A sharp pain had told him that his back would be sore for awhile. He had seen a knife, and panic immediately seized him again. He stood up quicker than Savana, and began to limp over to the blurred body of Lukas. "Lukas! LUKAS!" He hit him slightly, and the fourteen year old began to stir. He didn't wake up however, and just simply kept laying there on the grass. What the freaking hell was she doing, holding a knife-?! No! You can save it for another time! Right now, focus and make sure you didn't cause to much damage! He heard Ricky's howl, but it didn't help the situation. In extreme pain, he propped Lukas up against a stone and limped over to Savana. "Are you ok?" He asked quietly, because talking to loud hurt.

Savanna saw a figure coming towards her. She took a step back, not being able to see who it was yet. When she realized it was eric, she relaxed. "I am fine, what about you?"

Ricky stopped, finally deciding to run to Eric instead of staying.

He nodded, but flinched. His head was starting to hurt, which wasn't a good sign. "That ki- I mean Lukas is fine, just unconscious." Savana could silently hear Eric doubt himself. The pain was increasing, but he ignored it and focused helping take Lukas back to camp. There was a large gash on his leg from the stump, and he wasn't walking very well. "This isn't gonna work.. Savana, can you give me a hand? This great lump has been eating to many donuts." Nope! I am NOT going to have another episode! Not now! I have to focus on other things! He silently scolded himself, forgetting Savana could hear it.

Savanna saw ricky coming and waved, still holding on to her side. "OVER HERE" she shouted, making sure ricky knew where they were. When she arrived, she said, "Ricky, can you carry Eric? I need to get whoever the heck that guy is." as she gestured to Lukas.

She carefully picked up Eric, trying not to hurt him more.'You'll be okay.' she said, whispering.

He frowned, not enjoying being carried like an infant, but complied. "Careful with him!" He called back to Savana. Meanwhile, she could hear Lukas's dreams, but without pictures. No! Don't take me away! Eric! ERIC! Another voice joined the dream. "Where's my brother? Where's my family? Why's everything on fire?!" It was Eric, and someone was telling him that he had killed his entire family with his magic. "No.. no.. NO! NO! I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" The yells faded as quiet sobs overtook the voices, which must of been Lukas crying. Meanwhile back at the cave, Eric had propped himself against a rock. "Weather's clearing up, thank god..." He murmured, wincing as he sat by the flames. "Thanks for helping Ricky.."

'Anytime.' she said quietly, curling her tail on her leg.

He felt like sleeping, but to much was going on right now to get much rest, or any at all. He waited for Savana to return, wanting to question this stranger that said he was his brother. No! They all died! But, if it is.. NO! He isn't your brother! Your alone! So leave it at that! He thought savagely, and continued to wait in silence.

Savanna joined them a bit latter carrying the boy on her back. She heard his thoughts the whole time and was deeply saddened. She placed him by the fire and propped him up. She gently placed her hand on his forehead. "I think...." she paused for a moment and spoke telepathically to eric, your brother, " the poor thing might have a fever. Did anyone grab some medicine before we left?"
