Ember faltered a bit, obviously not wanting to go in the water without knowing how to swim. She swallowed nervously, but followed Alderic none the less.

Orion nodded, and backed off into deeper water. He turned, diving under the water, and swam out in front of everyone, and waited, treading water.

Mitch swam over to where Alderic was pulling Ember out a bit further. He got on the other side of her to make sure she wouldn't go under as the got out to deeper water.

Jora let out a deep breath a small wisp of smoke coming out. She moved one of her arms away from her abdomen nodding. She put her hand on top of A'ine's and the other girl smiled and lead her out to a wadding place.

Ember was unused to walking through water, and she was now shoulder-deep. Her foot caught on the bottom of the lake, and she fell forward into the water. Confusion, not panic struck her when she found she couldn't find which way was up. She felt around with her feet until she felt the bottom of the lake.

Orion felt rather useless again, so he just stayed where he was, treading water. He decided to wait for Jora to get used to the water before going over to her.

Alderic got dragged down a bit with Ember and was doing every thing he could to keep from falling on her.

Mitch dived in without a second of thought and pushed Alderic back onto his feet a little away from Ember. He then grabbed her arm and pulled her up out of the water. "You okay?" He asked looking at her worriedly.

A'ine hadn't seen what had happened. She was looking at Jora hoping to keep her calm without mind speaking to her. "I'm going to go out further and transform. You're going to have to walk over to me okay?" She said reassuringly.

Jora nodded still worried about what was going on.

Ember found her footing, as she gasped for air. "I'm fine, thanks," she said. She turned to look at Alderic and apologize, but before she could, she started laughing, completely forgetting the bet.

Orion saw Ember go under, and stared in surprise when she came back up laughing.

"Yes!" Alderic laughed spinning around in the water rubbing his hands together. "I win! You owe me marshmallows! You owe me Marshmallows!" He yelled happily.

Mitch started laughing too. These two were hilarious. His laugh was deep and real. Not at all forced.

A'ine turned just in time to see Alderic jumping around and laughed a little at his silliness.

Jora couldn't help but look up and smile as she watched Alderic be goofy. She started walking a little closer trying to figure out what he was yelling. She let her arms fall to her side as she held them out to keep her balance.

Ember just laughed harder, the hardest she'd laughed in a while. She had to remind herself not to double over or she'd fall again. "Fine, I'll give you marshmallows," she said between bursts of laughter.

Orion laughed when she saw the chain reaction that Ember had started. Even Jora seemed a little happier. Now he just wanted to know what Ember was laughing at. He closer to Alderic, Ember, and Mitch.

Mitch's laughter died down a little replaced by a low chuckle. He smiled at Ember suddenly wondering why they started laughing in the first place knowing that Alderic's antics had helped with the rest.

Alderic stopped spinning around smiling at Ember. "What got you?" He asked just as some green plant fell onto his glasses. He crossed his eyes to look at it without touching it.

A'ine looked back at Jora and smiled softly. She seemed to be forgetting last night, which was good... Very good.

Jora waded a little further toward A'ine the water just starting to touch the skirt part of her swimsuit.

Ember stopped laughing too. "At first it was just the audacity of me falling like that, and then Alderic's hair," she said, still laughing a bit at Alderic's expression.

Orion smiled at Alderic's expression.

Alderic flicked the seaweed off of him and glared jokingly at Ember. He bent down and grabbed something out of the water. He smiled and through some seaweed at Ember.

Mitch shook his head. He saw Alderic throw some seaweed at Ember. He was worried it might knock her down again so he pulled her out of the way toward him. Alderic laughing a little. The redhead splashed Mitch. And he started laughing again.

Jora looked away from them and back toward A'ine who was a little bit further out then shoulder height. Jora's arms were spread widely to try and keep her from falling.

A'ine turned back and watched Jora she transformed into a hippocampus and her horn shown in the sun light. Swimming seemed way easier now then it had before for her, and it felt like she'd do it forever.
