Illya quickly runs back towards solid land. Now would be a good time for someone with a bow and arrows to miraculously show up. Or even someone with hair spray. Illya looks at the creature again thoroughly annoyed.

Casey scooped up Illis as soon as the ground began to crack, and ran in the opposite direction. The little girl was a tad heavy, but the new wave of adrenaline brought him a second wind. He hoisted her up, so she didn't get in the way of his legs. He took to a northern direction, hoping that there would be at least a house nearby. "Hold on, okay?", He whispered. "We're going to find help."

Even as the loud screeching and the sound of the ground shattering faded away, Casey still felt panic, maybe even guilt. He gave Illis a reassuring pat on her back and kept running.

((I thought about making Mouse a beast keeper when I made her, but Mimic fits better with her character. Also I asked about the depth of the hole via pm. Oh and I'm so sorry Casey))

Scrambling back quickly as the ground crumbled in of her, Mouse peered into the hole and scoffed. Her plan was still going to work! And then whatever his name is ran off with the girl, "That idiot!" She muttered under her breath.

There was only one thing she could think of now to do, Mouse yanked off her shoe and threw it as hard as she could at the bird's head and exclaimed, "Hey ya big dummy! That all you got?!"

Dancing around and making a complete fool of herself she mocked, "Oooo look at the widdle 6 foot hole in the ground." With confidence she taunted, "I'm not afraid of you! You wanna play then let's play."

Mouse wasn't scared, she was actually seething with anger. But she wasn't going to let the cause of her ire become bird food just because he wasn't streetwise. She had a hunch of where the guy had taken off to, but there were some problems he likely hadn't considered. The largest issue, they had no idea where they were. The second biggest was, even if they do manage to find a town, how the villagers would react to two strangers wearing bizarre clothing. In her experience small town folk, or anyone really, had never treated her with any kindness. She hoped she was wrong about this place for the sake of the others. Mouse was use to it, she didn't care what people called her any more. Her worry was mainly for the kid.

She also knew she was going to regret having to make a complete fool out of herself, but if it meant the Idiot Wonder got away and was safe with the kid, then she'd do it all day if she had to. Mouse didn't like that the kid was going to have to learn some really rough lessons, she'd rather someone take off with her at every hint of danger. But she was a realist and knew that was going to be impossible.

Illya looks at Mouse slightly stunned that she had just thrown her shoe at the creature and that she had called a six foot hole 'widdle'.
Illya tries to help Mouse, "Come on creature that the best you got? I pity you, a slime has more strength. I bet you're even scared of fire." She takes some of the melting candle wax and throws it at the creature, "Get a mouthful of this hot stuff." She hoped the others would take the hint from Mouse and Illya and run.

Illis shrieked as Casey picked her up. They laughed as Casey ran making her bounce, she giggled as they went down the hill. She nodded at wherever Casey and giggled until she said, "I got to go potty." she said loud enough for Casey to hear.

Darius finally figured out how to take off, and flew back away from the creature, then picks up several stones, saying to himself, "It wouldn't be hard to make a sling..."
He scrounges for cord or string of any kind.

It caught mouses shoe in its mouth and swallowed it whole, it seems very... humanoidically unimpressed at the group's attempts to attack it, like it was expecting more friction. It eyes the now dubbed 'wax-thrower', seemingly forgetting about the two people who'd just ran off, and gently lands onto the ground. It throws up the shoe into Illya's hands, cooling the wax with its slimy saliva and torn shoe. The beast smiles knowingly or it appears to be at least, directly at Illya, and readies its wing to hit her before it takes notice of the newly arrived person.. [enter Melody Rigby, Uncannyclownery's new beastkeeper].




[It took me a bit because I was a little busy with the LG but I do have the plot adjusted to everyone's backstories, put in some interactions and all the business, it will go through more adjustments if any already-existing players make another character but aside from that, the general idea's figured out. If anyone wants to add to it or just talk about it Lotusdragon recommended we create a discord or a general OOC area to talk about what kinds of character arcs you guys want and the like so I would like everyone's opinion on that :).]
