"You didn't say it out loud but I know that look all too well," Justin explains calmly, "I wish I didn't know what it meant belive me." Orin flies over the range keeping well out of arrow range and looks at the targets. He already knew who had won.
Ashia fires again her shot nearly perfect on the furthest shot.

"Oh." Jay sighs quietly, glancing sideways at Justin before back towards the targets and the archers. He looks like he's about to say something but can't figure out what exactly to say, so he simply keeps his silence.
This time, Jackson's arrow goes wide. He nods his head, admitting to his miscalculation.

Ashia nods once, "We can work on that later. First though why don't we get something to eat then we can work on either archery or your bond."
"See what I mean," Justin asked Jay, "Ashia is a good teacher and a good friend."

Seth walks towards the Black Bear Inn with Buddy leading the way on a leash. Buddy was on Ashia's trail already and he wasn't about to loose it.

"Of course." Jackson beams. "I'll go whip something up for you guys." He heads straight to the kitchen in order to get something to eat for everyone.

Jay nods quietly as if thinking about what it would take for those traits to disappear, if they ever did. "I've got to admit, those qualities are admirable." He smiles at Justin and Lunar swoops down to his side, her grating call something of a warning. She could recognize a hunting dog any day.

Sparky notices that Jackson doesn't see Seth and his bloodhound approaching the Black Bear. He chews on his lip before he puffs out his chest, looking determined. He welcomes Seth, "Hello! Welcome to the Black Bear Inn. What can I do for you today?"

"A meal for my dog and me," Seth answers his green cloak no where in sight. Though he recognized Sparky was hiding something he didn't bother calling him out on it, "Also don't near my dog he's not friendly." Buddy sniffed the ground near where Ashia had been standing.

Ashia noticed Seth's spirit animal when Lunar called out a warning quickly disappearing. Justin followed her as best he could. Though his skill in stealth was no where near her level he would try his best.

Sparky started slightly, looking almost appalled at the suggestion of him even thinking of going near the dog. Dogs and Sparky had a rocky relationship at best. They were never friendly. "Yeah.. I mean, of course! I'll be back shortly." His smile returns as he nods and heads away to get what Seth had asked for. As promised, he returns soon with what Seth has asked for. He lists the cost of what that would be and awaits pay. For some reason, a sense of dread was looming over him.

After a moment of debating whether or not to follow, Jay decided that he would stay, for now, and see if he could throw Seth off their trail if need be.
Hazel notices the two disappear and bites her tongue. She wants to follow, but fears the more people that go, the easier it will be for the dog and human to follow. She goes inside the Black Bear with Brandon, looking forward to whatever Jackson's cooking up.

Seth thanks Sparky paying his bill and leaves. Or at least he seems to leave. In truth though he just watches the establishment while Buddy goes back to tracking. Seth was puzzled by Sparky's behavior though; he had done nothing to the boy or to his friends that he knew of.


Buddy acted like he left waiting until later to see if Ashia will lower her guard. He knows she most likely won't but everyone messes up sometime. This was one thief he refused to let get away espeically if she was related to the one nectar thief.

Sparky tries to shake the feeling of dread by doubling his efforts to help Jackson around the place. He plays with Barnabus outside when the chores are done and stays out with the big bear even when the stars show in the sky. "See the constellation?" Sparky asks Barnabus, pointing at the pattern the stars make in the sky. He smiles and settles against the black bear, taking in the animal's warmth. He enjoyed nights like these.

Hazel eats dinner and reads a book that Jackson is letting her borrow. She sits with her knees drawn close as she looms over the book, completely captivated by the story.
Brandon is reading over her shoulder, grinning when he spots the clues he had missed when he had first read it.

Jackson and Jay were chatting amicably together, catching up and spreading rumors and spending time to simply enjoy each other's company. You know, doing things friends do when they haven't seen each other in a long time.

Scarlet walks towards Barnabus looking around worriedly before getting too close. She holds up a note written by Ashia asking if they could stay the night or at least until Seth turned in for the night and put Buddy in passive state. Also on the note was a message from Justin asking if Jackson could put some feed in Shield's stall and warned that Shield was a former spirit animal.

Orion perches on a rafter above Jackson's head preening himself. Glancing at Jay he waiting paciently to see if they would get the note or notice him. He was pretty sure of them getting the note before they noticed him.

Ashia and Justin were hidden not too far from the Black Bear Inn but they were staying upwind so Buddy wouldn't catch their scent. They were worried about their spirit animals but also knew that they could be trusted to aviod detection. After all Ashia and Scarlet made a habit of sneaking in and out of GreenHaven.
