Blinking to make sure the desert isn't a mirage I stare at the desert. Then looking back at the village I decide to go into it. Heading into the village I feel uneasy.

He laughs with a sinister grin. It begins to darken as Diablo laughs louder. The symbols glow brighter and brighter.

"You do not realize tha-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Diablo goes fully invisible, and a vengeful "hruh!' can be heard.

A sense of vertigo comes over you, but it is indeed the desert. Some of the villagers notice you skeptically, but they are still friendly. Scanning the village, you see a nether portal frame with surrounding netherrack. Maybe this could be a place to rest.

I'm going to stop quoting, it takes some time ;P

"Welcome to my piecefinder." I say, thinking of what that could mean.

Another message appears. This time it is translated automatically. A tab above it says 'Thesiese'. What a find this is! Now it reads

"You don't know how to use this scroll?"

"Not really," I respond. "How do I use it?"

I cursed and looks around for any sound around me. I ready my bow to fire.

Now you're absolutely sure this thing can hear you. The thought is somewhat creepy, but whatever. Words shift again, into this message

"This scroll is a translator and pathfinder, imbued with complex magic. It can detect sound and respond to it."

I nod. "So how do I find paths?"

The scroll glows, and leaves a reply:

"Just ask me, and I will tell you."
