It snarled, trying to swipe at her underbelly with its claws. Its spines on its back had snapped from the hit with the tree and its back was bleeding dark oily blood.

The crystal blue water pulled it off of her scales and washed it from between her claws. Something strange was happening to the body of the Nightflare. The black ooze that seemed to be its body was ... slowly dripping off of it.

There was nothing to fear, and it soon was clear because the ooze just flipped off a body of a dragon. It wasn't any dragon like the normal she'd seen. It had white scales and black claws. ... It looked a lot like the strange middle prince, Shadow.
