"Reading and hiking. I like doing that stuff to. What do you like to read? Mystery, fantasy, nonfiction, or what? And can you suggest any hiking places?" Jax asks, and adds to himself, some places hopefully not in any pack's territory. The pack wolves tolerated his presence but he didn't want to risk getting on someone's bad side - especially if they were another werewolf. His leg starts bouncing again.

She shrugged and smiled "with reading I bounce between genres I will read anything" she said and tapped her chin jn thought, humming slightly "well... Anywhere as long as you stick to the trail... My hiking trips take me to the lake... I usually chill there... Draw... Read... I bring my guitar sometimes but thats rare..." She said in thought.

"I like to read the night sky." Jax half heartedly jokes. "Being at the lake... I don't know how to swim, so I probably won't be meeting you there anytime soon. Unless we were doing something other than swimming. You know how to play the guitar? That's so cool! I play the piano, but that sounds so normal and boring." Jax smiles back at Sammy.
"And I don't think I've properly introduced myself. I'm Jax." Jax says amicably. To be honest, the way he was talking was surprising himself. He usually wasn't so fluent in a conversation with people, and he didn't like to socialize. He would much rather be doing school work at home, with Maggy as company.

Sammy smiled warmly and shrugged "well Guitar is my main but I taught myself other insturments" she said half heartdly and she perked at the 'reading the night sky' she moved her head to the side "you like astrology?" She asked.

"Yeah, I do like astrology." Jax says, sort of shrinking into himself as if embarrassed to admit it. He tries to change the conversation. "So you teach yourself things? Have you been able to reach yourself things apart from instruments?"

Sammy smiled warmly "not really... Taught myself to hunt... But I dont do it much... And my mother taught me astrology stuff, I usually dont hike at night so thats why I dont see the stars unless in my backyard" she explained warmly tapping her fingers on the table gently.

"Taught yourself to hunt? Don't folk learn to hunt with their pack, uh, with someone else?" Jax silently curses himself for his slip up. If Sammy wasn't a werewolf, but a human instead, it wouldn't end nicely for him. He tries to change the conversation but ends up mumbling random gibberish and hoping she hasn't noticed.

Sammy froze 'I was trying to say I taught myself because I dis learn with my pack...' She thought to herself biting her lip slightly, "uh... Well... Yea I did..." She said quietly more to herself then him.

Jax nods and feels a blush creep into existence as he continues to feel extremely awkward. He looks down at his desk as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. He moved his arms off his desk, letting a small hiss of pain escape when he moved his injured elbow.

She heard the hiss and her head shot up and looked at him "you sure you're alright?" She asked moving her head to the side in slight concern, she huffed and looked at him uneasily before lowering her voice "I am guessing you're a wolf?" She whispered to him lowly.
