"Because I need my tent to be set up," She reminded him, pointedly ignoring the 'airhead' comment. "You had no idea what you wanted in return, and it was the first thing I could think of."

"I'm not the one who was laughing," Taylor countered with a smirk, then spun on her heel and began walking the trail again. "But I'm glad to hear I'm that funny."

"This must be what you offer everyone, huh? A ride in your car?" He asked, giving her a sidelong glance

"Yeah, me, too. I am so glad that you are." The boys and Vic began walking again

"I'm going to hope that wasn't an innuendo of some kind." She pretended not to notice that he was looking at her, instead choosing to observe how the campground looked from the windows of the car.

Taylor rolled her eyes, even though he couldn't see from where he was walking behind her. "At least you two aren't arguing anymore."

"Whaaaaat? Me? Why on earth would I ever do anything of the sort?" He asked, pretending to be innocent

"Don't jinx it," Oliver muttered

Izzy laughed, then flicked him on the shoulder with one finger. "Well, no. I don't usually let anybody else drive. And if that was some sort of allusion to my romantic life, it's safe to say that's near nonexistent."

"My threat from earlier still stands." She called over her shoulder. "You know, even though Jack finds it hilarious."

"Oh? I would think the guys would be lining up at your door to ask for your hand in marriage. Oh wait. It doesn't work like that anymore. Well, are they intimidated by your money or what?"

"It truly was funny," Jack pointed out.
"I don't see why I should feel threatened."

"It's not that I don't have guys or girls lining up," she replied jokingly with flip of the hair. "I guess I'm just focused on cheer and whatever I'm going to be doing in the future. Is that weird?"


"And I truly don't get what's funny about it!" Taylor spun around, walking backwards so she could face the rest of the group while speaking. Somehow, the sky had already started to darken, but she didn't seem to be paying much mind at the moment.

Rylan was busy scrolling on his phone- only his camera roll, since nothing else was working without a good signal around -and snapping pictures of any pretty flowers around.

"I have no idea. I don't really bother keeping up with goes on." He traveled a lot, not really staying in one place for too long. Mainly because he was looking for someone.

"Exactly. That's exactly why it's funny," Jack said, shrugging. Oliver looked at the sky, but didn't comment about it

Vicky watched, intrigued

(We have very different senses of humor, then.) Taylor imitated his shrug, scanning the trail. For some reason, it wasnt as familiar as it usually was. Her eyes widened and she froze, realizing walking backwards was not the best idea for her as the guide for the hike. (Ummm...)

"Me? Not anymore and no," he replied with a shrug.

"What's the hold up?" Jack asked, both he and Oliver were watching her.
