(Like actually tomorrow or their tomorrow?)
"Yes, please." Groggily she went to one of the beds. Her eyes were closed before her head even hit the pillow.
(Technically she isn't tired of the job, she's just tired of the entire day.)

(Their tomorrow...)

Zach feel asleep quickly, falling into a dreamless sleep. He woke with a start, not knowing why he woke up. Something inside him told him that it was still night time, but after midnight. One or two in the morning sounded about right. He sat up in bed, wondering why he woke up. After a moment, he figured it out. Someones were outside the room, talking.
"So we'll go in, kill the girl, grab the knives, and run before the useless one wakes up. Got it?" Joseph mutters from behind the door.
I'm not useless. Zach thinks to himself, setting his feet on the floor and slowly walking over to the door, standing next to it as he heard more.
"Got it, boss. Just a question - won't the useless one try something?" Someone else asks.
"If you stick to the plan, nothing will go wrong." Joseph says.
Zach didn't know what to do as he had never been in this situation before. Should he wake Selene up? Or try to fight these guys off himself? He wasn't able to decide because a second later, the door swung open with a creak.
"Aah!" Joseph gave a cry of surprise and a bang rang through the air. It takes Zach a moment to figure out that he had been shot. He stumbles back, placing a hand to his chest where he had gotten shot, eyes widening in surprise.
"What were you doing?" The someone else from before asks.
"Maybe he's just pretending to be defensless." Joseph states.
"Try to get information out of him." Another says. The next thing Zach knows is that his feet is leaving the ground as he is getting picked up by the collar of his shirt by someone he couldn't see.
"What were you planning on doing before we came in here? What did the girl do to our boss?" They threatened. Zach squirms, clawing at the hand that held him, but unable to get free.

Her eyes snapped open when she heard the gunshot. She listened for a bit before answering for Zach. "I didn't do anything. You were the ones who did something! You shot him idiots!" She stood up. "Why are they here Zach?"

"For your daggers, and most likely revenge." Zach notes.
"He can answer for himself because he's just playing dumb." The one holding him says, shaking him slightly. Zach debates on whether or not he changing into his dragon form would be a good or a bad thing. Maybe he could scare these folk away.

There were four beings room, five if you included yourself. You knew two of the beings' names, Joseph and Zach, and the other two you could tell where the dragons that had been with James.

"Oh gods. He can't answer because he's mute. Not because he's playing dumb. Now drop him or you get the same fate as James." She looked entirely serious as she walked up towards them. She unsheathed her daggers.

The one fellow drops Zach instantly and backs away from Selene, mumbling apologies.
"What are you doing, doofus?" The other dragon that used to be with James.
"Saving myself." The one says, exiting.

Zach holds his side to stop the blood coming from his wound. Breathing was becoming difficult. Zach coughs slightly to try and get whatever was making it hard to breath out. However, the tangy taste of blood fills his mouth. So my lung is punctured. Just great.

"Now move out of the way so we can get to the hospital because nothing good can come out of being shot." Selene put some pressure on where Zach was bleeding. "Zach, do you have internal bleeding?"

"If you're asking whether or not my lung got shot, yes. It did." Zach 'says'.
"I didn't mean to shoot him, he took me by surprise!" Joseph defends himself.
"And he was the one talking about killing you." Zach notes.

"Wow the flirty dragon is trying to kill me! Riddle me this, why am I not shocked at all? And we are getting you to the hospital." She made Zach lean on her.

Joseph grumbles something under his breath. The other dragon doesn't seem to want to give up, and blocks your path.
