Nicole let him go, her eyes still blazing. She glanced at Ray, her eyes softening a bit. "Hey, new kid. Enjoy your stay here, and don't let Austyn touch your stuff. Few people ever get it back." Nicole flashed one last look at Austyn, then turned and spun away.

"She totally likes you," Janet said to Austyn, pulling the bread off of a piece of her corndog.

"Good thing I don't have much Austyn can snatch." Ray says mostly to himself, nodding as he tries to remember anything that Austyn could take from him.

Austyn stares after Nicole. "I don't get it. How could she like me?" Then he chuckles, "Then again, I'm a clueless jokester and she's like a completely different species from me. You know more about the message she's trying to get across than I." Austyn says to Janet.

Janet beamed. "Nicole's just really really really really really really really really bad at showing her emotions! Some girls are like that, y'know? But yeah, you are pretty clueless." Janet looked at Ray, adding, "most people don't have much to get stolen when they first show up but give it some time." She shrugged, now trying to open her CapriSun.

"I see..." Though I don't think I'll be able to give this place much time at all if I want to get back to my duties... Ray silently offers to help open the CapriSun for Janet.

Austyn nods slowly, "I guess I am pretty clueless. I'm better at solving some problems better than others, yup."

Janet handed him the CapriSun, murmuring a "thanks," then looked at Austyn, smiling. "I think more than anything, you're just really good at causing problems!"

"Ah, yes. I am the mastermind." Austyn agrees with a nod and a laugh. "That you have gotten correct."

Ray opens the CapriSun and hands it back, muttering a "you're welcome" back. "Maybe you could try being the solution to problems?" Ray offers to Austyn. Ray liked helping to solve problems, not start the problems.

"Not everyone's like you, Ray. I'm good at causing problems and then forgetting about the solution to them until I'm being confronted by annoyed people." Austyn says with a nod, taking a bite out of his chili dog. "Now I thought we agreed that if I gave her the locations of the swords you would let me eat in peace?" Austyn somewhat jokes.

"Never." Ray teases Austyn.

Janet giggled, happily drinking her CapriSun. "I don't think Austyn has ever helped solve problems before he made the problems," she joked.


Time skip to after dinner?)

All throughout dinner, Ray had been nervous that someone else would jump on him because they noticed he had fangs. Somehow, Ray had managed to avoid that. Ray also knew that he didn't belong in any of the cabins since he was in a completely different myth and was pretty sure his dad didn't have a cabin for him. He highly doubted he would get 'claimed' -as some of the campers were talking about- and so it looked like he would be spending a night either in the Hermes cabin - which he didn't want to spend a night in - or he'd find somewhere else. Ray could always sleep in a tree if it came to it.

Austyn had eaten his dinner in peace and was very thankful for that.

Micah walked over to them, smiling at Ray. "So where are you going to be staying, Ray?"Janet got up, linking her arm with Micah's. "Yeah, you don't really have a godly parent, huh, Ray?"

"I don't know where I'll be staying." Ray says, smiling back to Micah, blushing slightly. Gods, why do I have to be so gay. "Yeah, not quite a God, but still something of a godly parent." He says, turning his smile to Janet.
