Evelyn manages to find some vines and throws the ends into the hole securing the other end snuggly to a tree.
I assume u can climb so scale the wall of the hole.

Akranian grabs the vine with his wimpy noodle arms and begins climbing. He almost gets to the top, but slips the last foot and desperately scrambles at the dead leaves at the top.

He sits at the top of the hole, panting. He looks up at the elf that'd saved him. Standing, he nods curtly. "Thank you. I'll be on my way, then." He starts marching off.
