Someone shouted "ATTACKER!" and shot you with a cross bow. You fell into unconsciousness.
When you woke up a different person was standing over you, AKA Dew
"Hi!' She said. 'You almost died'. She gave you satchel with the following: 10 treats, 2 healing packets, food and water, a map, and a long strand of rope and a Bubble looking helmet. She forced the helmet onto your head and pushed you through a portal. A sphinx was standing in front of you. 'I have cities, but no houses. I have mountains, but no trees. I have water, but no fish. What am I? Answer the Question and you may go, fail and I will eat well."
What is the answer?

The Sylestie swam away and You swam on, following the map. You soon reach a giant sphinx blocking your way. "What is seen in the middle of March and April that cant be seen at the beginning or end of either month? Answer the Question and you may go, fail and I will eat well."
What is the answer?

The sphinx rose and moved muttering " Going to search for easier breakfest" and bounded off. Then you reached another crossroad. a WR puffadore nuzzled you.

You swim on for a long time and finally reach a forest of seaweed. The forest stretches all the way to the border of Dew's Realm. The map tells you to swim around the forest, but going through the forest would be faster, you could just walk in a straight line until the other side, where the Elder was living.
Do you go through the forest or take the long route, around the forest?
