He still remembered the words of the stone, so apparently he had to work with those two for somthing greater then a school project... did those things had a way to ensure that the chosen ones would even work togedther or was it left to pure luck ? Perhaps it would be the best if he keept this to himself and figure a way to create himself an alias in case one of the others would betray them. "That sould like the beginning of a bad comedy to me..."

"Ugh I hate comedies, most of them aren't even funny. I enjoy the classics and rom coms; don't ask why, I'm not even sure." she said and looked at the board hoping the teacher had written their assignment

"Our life a comedy? Which person would we be? The funny all too serious one that always falls for practical jokes? The prankster? I don't know much else comedy??? I hate to say it, but I guess I'm not a fan either." Scout says with a shrug.

"Maybe we really are mean to be." She said and playfully nudged him as she laughed

"Yes. And the only thing in our path is the fact that we can't decode the secret cryptic message ... Cupid ... sent us." Scout says dramatically, before pondering on the words he had heard when he had tripped on the rock. "But didn't the message sender something about eight?" Scout asks.

"Mhm. We might be in a huge relationship, get ready." She said with a smile, looking around the room for no reason other than the fact that she still didnt know what the project was

While he was waiting for the teacher to do somthing, he turn his attention on Plasma, the mexican alligator lizard had crawl in his sleave and was now poking his bright green snout out near Aidan's shoulder.

Bev gasped "oh! What do you have?" She leaned a bit closer, careful not to invade his space too much. "is that a lizard?"

He sigh. " Obviously, what else live on land and have bright green scales ? It's a mexican alligator lizardto be more exact."

"He or she? They're so cute!" She smiled and reached out before stopping. "Can I touch or no?"
