Bev was just about to exit the section when she heard a soft growl. She looked around and her eyes landed on the boy that had been in the tree earlier. Was he following us, or is he just hungry? she squinted a little at him as he was mostly hidden by the shadows

Levi continued down the aisle and stopped when he saw the apples, which was his favorite food. His picked up as many as he could and put them in bags until he could carry no more. Then he walked away towards the place where the shadows where the most thick, getting ready to leave without anyone seeing him or so he thought...

"Maybe," Levi snapped in a low voice, if he said yes she would probably report him to the cops and if he said no she would probably know he was lieing, he ducked held the apples closer and looked around for a place he could teleport, not seeing any he let out a tiny sigh of defeat.

She frowned at his tone and backed up a little. "I'm not going to report you, I'm assuming you use magic. That's one of the only reason's they'd be chasing some teen. You and I both know they don't care if some kid makes it home safe or not." Beverly said, trying to ease the both of them

"Maybe I do," Levi said coldly not trusting her, she could be an under cover police office, "But why should I tell you," He slipped into the shadows and barely noticed how the shadows seemed to wrap around, the cold of the shadows comforted him, giving him strength.
