Her glasses clatter to the ground. She harshly kicks away the dog and glares at him.

He quickly helps her up, picking up her glasses and handing them to her. "I'm so sorry for him, he's new, like literally, new." He chuckles.

She sighs irritably, wiping the dust off her glasses. "If you insist on getting a dog, learn how to properly handle one!" She then begins to leave.

"Wait! Can I at least have your number so I can pay for your glasses?" He asks, having noticed the middle broke.

"I can pay for my own stuff!" She retorts.

"I know that! I think... But still, let me at least help!" He says, following her with his brother in tow.

She ignores him.

He sighs, turning back around and walking back with his brother. "Sorry buddy, it's getting late. Maybe tomorrow night?" He asks. Blake quickly averts his gaze, "Tomorrow is the parent-teacher conference at school bubby." He explains. Bex nods, walking back inside and winking at the Secretary. She quickly looks away, trying to hide her blushing face.

She stops once he's back inside and gazes back, glaring. She stuffs the broken glasses in her pocket.

After putting out the supplies he got for Giant in Blakes room he says goodnight, turning off the lights and walking outside to finish his job. He silently suits up in an ally, finishing and beginning to scale the side of the apartment.
