He nodded slowly before looking for the chargers. Why was it so hard to remember to keep the thing plugged in? It's not like he had anything else to do at the moment while the final preparations were put in place for his job. As he plugged the device into the power outlet the screen flashed lightly. Great it would take a few minutes more for it to charge enough for it to come back on. More waiting... He hardly noticed as the door opened behind him, that sound seeming not to register. What if something had happened? What if it had been an emergency? The longer he stared at the blank, semi light screen the more thoughts flooded through his mind. It was only when the pair of hands covered his eyes did he look away. At first it started him, nearly making him drop the phone though that light laugh simply made his pointed ears turn red in embarrassment.
"Something wrong dear? I didn't scare you did I?" The older man teased.
"You'll have to do better than that if you want to scare me." Dexion huffed clumsily putting the phone down on whatever was near. "I could hear you from the door."
"Oh really now? Because the look on your face told a whole different story."

"It's a pleasure." The older man nodded before turning his attention to the menu of drinks.
