Amicus felt the hand on his shoulder and lifted his head slightly to gaze at its owner. He coughed a few more times before it finally stopped. He reached into the sack he had at his side and pulled out a cloth without moving the hand over his mouth. He pulled away so he could wipe his mouth and quickly wiped his hand with it too. "I'm fine. I just shouldn't have expended so much energy in my magic in that battle.... it has long term effects."

Boop?

Taz looked at him, turning only as he felt his face flush again. "I-I just wanted to make sure." He said before walking on. "If you would like I can see if I can find something to help with the coughs."

Ash turned to see the two mages. She whispered to taz to get his attention. She made a heart shape with her hands. She laughed at herself as she turned back around and left. When they were out of sight she gagged "Love. What a useless emotion."

Amicus shook his head as he packed the cloth away in the sack on his side. "Once we get to the mess hall, I will request hot water. I have something to ease it." He straightened and glanced over to see the rogue make a heart shape with her hands. Oh, so this was what he had intruded on? Perhaps that was why she had been so salty? He huffed lightly and started walking quickly in the direction of the mess hall. A little bit of subtlety would have done nicely! How rude! There was no time for these childish games! Just say what that you liked each other already and move on!

Boop?

As the other mage stormed off he shot the rouge a hatful look. The nerve! He just had a simple crush was all! Now was not the time for such thoughts or games. Huffing a bit he limped after Amicus. "I'm sorry about her." He apologized. "I had no idea she was so childish..."

Amicus turned with a confused scowl. "It was just a simple little jest? I thought.... Nevermind. It does not matter. Let's just eat before we have to do some real work." He huffed lightly as he slowed his pace down to walk alongside the mage. He still seemed a bit haughty though.

His cheeks turned flush again. "No,no she wasn't making those gestures at me, least not in that way." He stammered rubbing the back of his neck lightly. "C-can I tell you something? You have to promise not to get upset about it though alright?"

(You didn't miss much, they decided that they are going to hit a few smaller villages for supplies and soldiers first. Now though they are heading for the mess tent for breakfast.)
