Selene pressed the button, moving the minivan just enough so that she could squeeze out. She quickly rolled it back and began to travel to the school. She needed to really sneak around to her greatest extent, so as not to attract the attention of the Darkseekers. She rolled in the blood of a Darkseeker she had slain, masking her scent and hoping her wounds wouldnt get infected. She managed to make it to the school, trying to determine whether the dragon girl was still a threat. She peered in all the windows, digging her claws into the bricks and climbing to view the upper windows. She noticed the dragon caster passed out on the floor, her breathing uneven and erratic.
Selene thought for a moment, conflicted. On one hand, the girl had kicked them out of the building. On the other, she had saved Selenes life by not allowing more Darkseekers to get at her. A life for a life, she decided. Selene hopped through the window, shaking Crystals shoulder. Hopefully she hadnt been infected.
Hey! You alright there? She asked.

Crystal doesnt answer but a dark presence hover over her, not noticing Selene. It pulsed, causing Crystal to cough violently. As she settled back down, a trickle of blood came out of her mouth. It quickly became a pool. The malevolent presence appeared to be the thing that had caused Crystal to lash out so strongly.

Oh no.
Selene put her ear to Crystals chest, listening to the sound of air bubbling through blood. Her whiskers twitched. She felt something... unnatural. It made her fur stand on end, and she had to get out. She ranger-rolled Crystal onto her back, leaping out of the open window and using her claws to slow her fall by digging them into the wall. Selene became even more terrified when the presence followed, causing her white stripes to flash uncontrollably. She hid in a back alley and tried to calm herself.

Crystal could feel the tremors, and felt as if something was carrying her. Was it the demon? No, Damien couldnt have built up that much solididity. She saw flashes of light, and suddenly, a searing pain in her forearms. It was like something was cutting words into her. On her right arm they read
LET ME IN LET ME IN LET ME IN LET ME IN LET ME IN LET ME IN
continuously.
On her left arm they read
REMEMBER ME REMEMBER ME REMEMBER ME
with a series of opened slashed to the wrist that had been healed.
They spattered blood in Selenes footsteps,

Selene jumped when she saw blood dripping from Crystals arms. She put her down and leaned her up against the wall, giving her a sharp slap to the face, careful not to let her claws out.
You need to tell me whats going on.
She said in a firm voice.

Crystal blearily opened her eyes. Everything looked blurry, but a glitching shape behind Selene told the whole story.
*groans and pants*
All *pant* all I can tell you-
Is *blood bubbles from her lips a bit*
You cant stay with me... I cant *pant* get near you for too long. Must stay away. Hell get *pant* you-
She struggles to get the words out.
Let. Me. *cough* die. Its. The. Only. Way.
Hell switch the possession. Youre not strong enough. Get away. Before its too late. Cant let him gain controle. Cant let him. Cant. Le-
Crystal gasped out the words, just before passing out once again.

He? He who? I dont unde- ohhh, the demon. I didnt know he was possessing you.
Selene just noticed that Crystal had gone unconscious again, so she wiped the blood off her arms using some gauze and bandaged them tightly.
She sat down cross-legged, and summoning her best royal, commanding voice, she let her magic flow freely through her, her eyes and stripes glowing brightly.
Spirit of darkness, reveal yourself! You are nothing but a coward, hiding behind this poor humans flesh and blood. Show me who you are.

Pfft as if. Also, how could you assume that this is a HUMAN of all things. You, my dear, are very very funny.
Said a deep creepy voice in Selenes ear. There was nobody there. This demon had become too powerful to be commanded as such.
An echoing laugh riochoed in the alleyway.
You know, you shouldve listened to Crystal... shes usually right about these things. Id say, you have about 3 minutes until I can grow fully attached to your soul, SELENE.
Whispered an evil voice in her other ear.
Better get running!
It hissed, seemingly everywhere at once.
