A bit shocked by the sudden explosion and entrance of military personel, I listen to their words and focus on memorizing the code that the man had given us, as I move towards the group heading for the hospital. I'd rather have the military on my side than go out in the country. "I'd rather go to the hospital. It may be harder to see the zombies coming on our way there, but the military should provide good protection once we get there."

Surprised by every ones willingness to go to the hospital, I jumped up and slung back on my hood. "Are you all insane?!" Eyes wide, I glanced at the direction of the hospital. "Do you guys even know whats happened to these people? They used to be people! A disease is whats been doing this! Where do you think someone goes when they're sick?! The hospital! Its going to be crawling with infected! Is anyone even listening?!" Looking down, I picked up my katana and put it in its sheath. "Well, I hope your happy with your decision, but im not going to be part of it. Sorry."
Looking over to the left path, I sigh. 'Well, rural country it is then'

((I play to may zombie games and watch to many zombie movies (even though im scared poopless by them) To know, EVERY SINGLE ONE STARTS AT THE HOSPITAL!))

EDIT: Forgot from last night that we already made it to the intersection :/

Watching the others go racing past me I hang back, trying to think things through. Why'd they bust in to the building like that? It was seriously bad strategy, and absolutely unnecessary. They seemed surprised to see us, but there was no reason to explode into the building if they didn't know we were there. I won't be going to the hospital, which I can see a long way off. "I'm with you Kit. I have a theory about those men, and it isn't a nice scenario. Besides, less population in the country means less zombies, and if we can find a tent we'll be extremely safe. Humans may attack structures, but animals don't." Not even zombie animals, because they simply do not recognize them as habitation/hiding places.
Besides, there'll be more water, and I know a lot about plants.
"I hope we can stop and stock up along the way. We need warmer clothes, matches, a couple of containers, rope, and I could really use a bow. You just can't send flaming bullets at things, but arrows work great.

"We should wait for the others to decide, but if you're not waiting, can I come with?" I asked Kit. "I know my way around the country much better than most, and I know what is edible, healing, poisonous, etc."

[EDIT]
I didn't like Daemon's plan. Steal from the military? Not good. Besides, a hospital won't have survival gear, like a house might.

"Here's how I know that houses or stores will hold better stuff than a hospital. Ever moved house? Takes a couple of trips. If you run off, away from zombies, (like we did) you will leave a lot of stuff behind. You can only take so much with you. Therefore houses will have blankets, sweaters, kitchen knives and maybe food as well. Plus you've got essential stuff, like water bottles, and matches. Stores will have been abandoned as soon as the disease spread. They'll have been looted, but again, only so much you can take with you.
Ever been to a hospital? The food is terrible! And a scalpel is nowhere near as effective as a baseball bat, or a golf club."
I pause for breath, and to gauge reactions.
"As for those men? I think they just want slaves, while they work out a solution. Back up generators only work for so long, and then POW! No electricity. They wouldn't have blown us out of there if, like they claimed, they didn't know we were in there.
I'm going to the country, and looting on the way."

[EDIT]
With a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach I start to think that we'll be the only ones heading for the country.
"Are you sure Cerberus? All you have to do to survive is to run faster than me. Or trip me!
Besides, not everyone decided, and we might have more coming."
I stare at the rough concrete, and my hopelessly stupid shoes. I hope I can find better ones... Concentrating on shoes is good. Just don't look up, because if I do I'm going to start having some chronic peer pressure problems.
"Bye, guys," I mumble
"Anyone else coming?"

((true dat))

I stood around the group, checking my rifle to see if it was dented in any parts. I didn't damage it that bad, I thought, and guns that are fresh from the store need more than some taps to be ultimately unusable. Nevertheless, I pat my pockets to make sure I have my rounds, and counted the members who wanted to go between the 2 directions ahead of us.

Three wished to pursue the hospital.
Two wanted to flee to the wilderness, on terms saying that the hospital may hold some less-than-human surprises.
One was undecided and waiting.

I honestly felt a sincere tug at my heart at the division of our rag-tag party. My logic said that, with or without the group and its opinions, the hospital by itself offered supplies that may be invaluable to us, not to mention the hope of survival by being picked up. However, I wanted to tag along with the smaller group and make sure that they were okay. I wasn't sure if there would be supplies on the way out of the city. The hospital was what I was leaning towards.

"Nnn. I'll just wait til you guys pick on your own. I honestly want to loot the hospital and at least stay there for the couple of weeks that we have to stay there for. If help doesn't come or our situation doesn't get any better, then we can leave for the country. At least we'd have the supplies we'd get from the hospital on our side. Maybe some food and first aid kits. And some hospital instruments that can serve as makeshift weapons."

I stood against a brick building, listening to the peoples explanation on going which way and I formulated my decision. I straighten myself and announced to the group, "I'm going to go to the hospital." Turning to the ones who decided to leave for the country side I put myself out there to their attention. "Going to the country IS a good idea, less people, less zombies. Healing plants and gathering water yes, I also have great knowledge about nature but I Also have a great plan..." Some of the people in our band of survivors leans in to listen. "Why not go to both?" Hunt stepped forward saying how would that be accomplished and I reply coolly, "Going out into the wilderness with almost No supplies isn't a great idea, but what if we go to the hospital, look around, play it cool and gather as much supplies as we can then we bolt?" I saw some nods and some disgruntled looks but I continued, " Look, I don't trust these military guys as much as the next person, maybe a little more, but that doesn't mean we can't use what they have. These guys might have a zombie antidote or a supply vehicle we could take in the night! And we might learn what the hell is going on here." I pause, letting my words sink in. I inhale slowly, looking at the ones who want to leave for the country side, I smile and say,
"Why not go to both?"

[EDIT]: "Talyn is absolutely correct!" I supported her and her words, "and who knows! Maybe there Isn't a country side anymore, maybe we've been barricaded in to keep whatever happened here from getting out." I had a concerned look on my face as I was realizing what I was saying. Taking a breath I stood by Talyn, I knew she was to be a valuable player in all of this. "Guys, we Will survive! With me, I'll do everything in my power to keep you guys alive because I have hope in all of this. If anything, I can't guarantee that there is a country side and hate to think you guys walked all that way just to find a big wall..." I urged, "please, just think about it , guys."

Looking up a Daemon, I shook my head. "Because we- we might not be able to.... survive to make it through both...." My eyes where tearing up now, as I ran my hand back and fourth on my blade. "I guess its just you and me, Hunt. Flute, go with them. Ther-theres safety in.. in numbers." Turning towards the path to rural, country areas, I shook my head again. 'This is like Resident Evil or Left 4 Dead all over again! I just beat those games! Its always; Get to the chopper on top of a really super infested, tall building and we'll get ya outta there! Ugh!'

I am the last out of the building. As the dust clears I see the group talking, they seem distraught which couldn't mean anything good. After getting caught up I shake my head in sadness as it seems the group is splitting up. "I agree greatly with going to the country, I have a feeling those military men are setting us up and I don't trust them." I heave a heavy sigh. "However, the medical supplies can come in handy and for now I need to stick with a large group considering I don't have a weapon as of yet. Who knows maybe I can get a needle/needle syringe as a weapon." I give out a slight giggle trying to make light of the conversation. I walk over to Hunt and kitten giving them both a big hug. "Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" I feel saddened at the decision. "Please take care and I hope to see you both again in the future."

After listening to the others, I am not entirely sure if going with the military is all that great of an idea, however I still think that getting medical supplies is a good idea. "Can't we all go to the hospital together, gather medical supplies and possibly medicines that could either be used by us when needed or traded for goods down the line, then raid the empty houses and such on the way out of the city for those that don't want to go with the military?" I ask, a bit unsure about if they should be trusted or not. The countryside sounded like it would be easier to defend oneself while one still had ammo, but only when the ammo was still in supply and once out, then things get difficult... Well, except for the ones with effective weapons like the hatchet or katanna.

Sighing, I said, "You guys dont get it, do you? We wont survive. The virus' hot-spots gonna be the hospital, unless the army men cleared it, and they said nothing of the sort. And if we evacuate, then where would we go? Its an Apocalypse, this virus is global. There is no where to go, and im not stupid, we raid, and then map where to go to get back to the city for more supplies. And ammo? Whats the use of that? Blades and face masks are the way to go, ammo just slows you down. Im just saying, there is NO WAY you can get me to go to the hospital, and thats final. Im sorry, but... goodbye. Stay safe." Hugging everyone, I turn to the left path and nod to Hunt. This is gonna be a long and boring journey.

"Evacuate to Antarctica, of course! I'd be good with boring, but I expect trouble."
Looking up, I grin. "I hope you dudes like the cold. Because I'm guessing it's either that or slavery!"
I follow Kitten to stand at the other side of the street.
