Liam glared at her.
" Yes. Why else would I come to this place? Certainly not by choice. " He was annoyed by the question, but he answered it bluntly. He sat up even more, his back stiffening. He shut out memories of before he came here. Liam dared not to show anymore weakness. Honestly, he was banished for being good, which was sadly frowned upon in his realm, and appeared as weakness.
" Whatever that beast was, it's certainly not going to be happy when it comes back. " He noted.

"yep, that thing isnt exactly what you would call 'forgiving'" he stated. "you have? oh. people from nearby villages and the whole country of Thain calls it this. and i came here because i can. if i feared for my safety i wouldnt. but creatures like this are not uncommon, its the forest that isnt. rumors say that cultists opened the gate to Asgareth here, but apparently demons dont care for their followers. so i believe the gate was closed by the Council, but they were too lazy to clean up." he glanced at Liam. "so people banished you to this world or just the forest here? funny how lazy everyone is. dont even bother to destroy threats or pests. just banish or seal"

Imp sighs, "Welp, I guess that is one way to know exactly how lost you are. I managed to take so many wrong turns that I ended up on another planet." Then he looks contemplative, "Well, I probably wouldn't have noticed for a long while anyways, I was, kinda avoiding people for a while."

"You could have come here to make an alliance with the evil spirits who lives in this forest." the woman answered to Liam as bluntly as he had spoken. "If you did not want to be asked about your banishment, you should not have spoken about it".

What Neil had said startled her. The names he used, Thain and Esgareth, seem vaguely familiar to her ears, even if they seemed to be either mispronounced or misused.
"Where do you say we are?" she asked, hoping he would correct himself and she would finally be able to understand where they were. Something else bothered her. "What council are you speaking about?"
He could not mean... It almost gave her a headache. Yes, she should be dreaming, or someone was messing with her mind. Or maybe she had become insane in the end.
"Yes, I have." she said in a whisper, and her voice was still bitter.

She also wondered what Imp was meaning by 'coming from another planet', but she would ask him later. She had to understand everything else first.

" It wasn't like I was asking you for your damn commentary! " Liam snapped. " Make an alliance with the evil spirits? Oh please! "
He was started to get really irritated, and his flames danced along his arms. He grit his teeth and looked away from her. He needed to calm down, and these beings weren't helping at all.

"You asked a question, I answered honestly. Do not ask me a question, even rhetorical one, if you are not ready to hear the answer. If you think Do you think I have a reason to believe that you are better than the evil spirit?."
She looked at the flame dancing around him. Was he going to attack her now? She would not attack first, but was ready to defend herself if he did.

"Thain. its a country here. right now, i believe they are in a small war, but i could be wrong." he shrugged. "Council? they are some group that nobody knows much about. all people know is that they step in if anything too drastic happens. like demons coming out of a portal from Asgareth." he said matter of factly, like everybody would know that. as to whatever nonsense about planets Imp was on about he had no clue, and didnt care enough. He watched liam and angry and sighed, putting a freezing hand on his shoulder. "control yourself. if this forest gets burned down it will attract unwanted attention." he said this coldly and emotionless, his eyes never leaving Liam.

She did not know of any country named Thain.
"Can you tell me in which region this country you call Thain is located? Who they are at war against? Is that everything you know about the council? Asgareth... What is this place you call Asgareth, exactly?"
I was a lot of questions, but she had to understand what was happening. She could not know about a very small human realm, but this whole story was strange, and though some things did make sense, others did not make sense at all. If Neil was a 'demon' too, he could be messing with her mind on purpose and be lying to her. She hoped she was not in the forest of that mad... She could not think of any polite word to describe him.

Liam just about lost it. Who the hell was she to say that to him?
" Not all of us are evil!! So don't you dare mistake me as one of those monsters!! " His flames grew more, but quickly disappeared when he felt Neil's hand on his shoulder. He gave him an angry glare, but it softened slightly, and he put his hand over his forehead.
" Sorry.. " He almost whispered.

Neil sighed. "its ok, i can understand why your upset, some people jump to conclusions. thats mostly why i dont interfere with the world of men." he took his hand away and glanced at the woman. Thain is on a region of land that has many names, so i really dont know what to call it. Theres three main regions with their countries. as to who they are at war with? i dont remember that countries name, and yes all i know about the council. i only go off mostly the gossip of humans." he paused for a moment then continued. "Asgareth is the place of demons. its the place that keeps most of them from completely taking over the Regions."
