a crack of thunder rang out as a flash of lightning flashed across the sky setting a nearby tree caught on fire, the rain quickly doused the flames but smoke tendrils curled up into the sky, "tails, i advise you not to go out." i said curling back up.

Whether he saw the tree or not, Knuckles grimaced and slowly edged back into the shelter of the cavern. "On second thought, maybe you're right for once," He muttered. He shook his fur once more (Sensibly this time, away from foxes and grumpy hedgehogs) and returned to the wall. It wasn't like he could go anywhere without a guide, anyway. He just watched the other two in scilence.
