The city that was before her eyes looked beautiful. The purple light in the darkness of the grove gave an eerie and mystic feeling to it. She had never seen any place which looked like that, except maybe in fantasy movies.
"I don't know" she said in a soft voice, marveled by the view.
The blast of hot hair wake her from her daydream.
"How did she do that? You're right, it's magic!"
She had a weird feeling. The existence of a prophecy did seem a lot less impossible to her right now.

"I think..." Kaiden pursed his lips. "They use the vents to travel or slow their falls. One way to find out!" He smirked a little and jumped right as another blast erupted. "Wooh!!!" He slowly floated down the several hundred foot drop. The girl had previously landed, and she blinked with eyes like amethyst, running off excitedly.

He was crazy to jump like that, Maia thought, what if it didn't work for us? He would have crashed at the bottom of the cliff!
But apparently, it did work. It definitely looked magical. And fun.
She waited for the next blast, and jumped as well.

He grinned again, and held out his hand. "Kaiden Kingsly. I Don't think I introduced myself."

"My name is Maia. Nice too meet you".
The girl smiled and shook his hand.

Kaiden smiled and pointed to the beautiful city bathed in light, "Shall we then?" A few rocks tumbled when he stepped forward. "Maybe I won't jump this time???"

"Yes we should!" she said enthusastically.
"Now that I'm here, I want to see this city! I have to admit, jumping was fun. But maybe you should not do it next time you are not sure of what will happen!"
She remembered what the weird people from the town had told her, before they made her go towards this city.
"People from the town have told me that we should try to find the palace, because of a prophecy".

Silv follows he with the mushroom torch as he notice the eerie feeling in the caves. "So.. is there a city of you guys? Dwellers i mean" Silv asks, following Tulsi as water drops from the stalactite.

Just then, three guards in silvery purple armor approached them. "Halt," the girl in the middle slow harshly. "Follow us, you are going to need the protection."

Maia

Maia was startled and a even afraid by the guards. These people seem to be the most dangerous around. They looked like soldiers, and had armors, and weapons.
"P... Protection? Why?" she managed to ask shyly.
She glanced at Kaiden to see what the boy was thinking about that.
