Ryan glanced at the girl, who was whispering in a hushed tone into her phone. He watched for a few seconds as she wiped her eyes and put her phone away. What was her name again... he had seen her before. Right! River. "You okay over there?" He asked, trying not to be too loud.

"I didn't get a name, but being ADHD, I forget tons of things." She grinned, though still upset, and even more jittery than normal, not even from the coffee. Nerves.

River jumped at the voice. She looked over. She didn't really know what to say. " No not really, but I'm working things out. " She smiled. Not a complete lie, but still bending the truth. She knew she had seen him before, and tried to remember his name. Oh right, his name is Ryan.

He nodded slightly, tilting his head. He watched her carefully, was it bad? It isn't my business though... he scolded himself for that. Shrugging, Ryan glanced at the table where she had been earlier with the other people he recognized from school. "River, right? I've seen you around."

Angelica walked into the cafe, looking for anyone she knew.

" Yeah that's right. You're Ryan correct? " She nodded. Her thoughts led back to the texts. Had he received one too?

"Yeah." A smirk appeared on his face. He was considered well known- almost everyone knew who he was, although he wasn't the same to everyone else. Reminds me... where the heck is he? He glanced around, looking for the friend that had texted him.

She noticed him glancing around. " Are you waiting for someone? " She asked, her theory of him getting the text was almost certain. It was strange. All the texts were to people of totally different background and interests. She set her bag on the ground.

"Yeah." He said. "How'd you know?" He wasn't the brightest person ever, but of course Ryan didn't know that he was so...stupid. He sat down at the booth next to him, still watching her.
