A tall well-dressed man wanders into the cave humming a merry tune. He appears at first to be any every day normal gentleman but the fact that he's missing one of his well-polished shoes does make him a bit questionable.

In fact, when passing near a light source, you can see that his suit is actually fairly well-worn. There's a stain on the collar and the ends of his sleeves are frayed. If you pay attention you might also notice that you don't recognize the song that he's humming. It doesn't even appear to be a song. The melody changes by the second as if he's making it up as he goes along.

One arm raises dramatically and the man closes his eyes. After a few seconds, a pause for dramatic effect of course, he brings it down sharply and quickly points to several items (or boxes) in succession. Each abrupt point is accented by the flailing of his other arm. Clearing away cobbwebs perhaps?

"That one that one that one that one that one that one... Oh and I suppose that one as well of course!"

Few of the items seem to have anything in common with one another but the man, if anything, seems confident in his choices. The items he points to just happen to be the following...

A hop, skip, and a jump later, the enthusiastic man is standing in front of the draconic shopkeeper. He gestures with both hands.

"And you, you oh fabulous creature of the dark and terrifying worldly mysteries, are you for sale as well?"

He took the paper with both hands and held it as if it would catch on fire at any moment. Leaning in close he closed one eye and studied it with the other held almost abnormally open. Then he did the same with the other eye. With care one would normally give to disarming a bomb, he pulled a pair of sunglasses from a coat pocket and placed them over his eyes.

"Aha! That's better!"

He turned the page around and jabbed at several empty locations.

"Yes, yes, these prices all seem fair. I have seen much the same on my many travels so I am pleased that you seem as knowledgeable as I. But you, ravishing beauty of a beast, still have much to learn. The skin of the snake is much too high. During my quests I have seen similar objects for half such a price!"

He shook his head and the paper dropped to the floor seemingly forgotten.

"Ah, poor damsel, if only you would sell yourself to me. I would take you to all corners of this divine world and teach you secrets so rare. Alas! Destiny is cruel!"

At some point he had fallen to his knees during his ravings. Seemingly just noticing this, he sprung back up and coughed, his entire demeanor changing.

"Dame, I will give you no more than 150,000 gold pieces for this object since your scales are such a magnificent color that my eyes can barely look upon you. Of course I will take the other objects as well."

He nodded vigorously.

"Perfectly acceptable, yep yep yep. If you don't mind I shall continue to browse your wares. You have a nice collection here, after all."
