Chronos looked at her, surprised, but didn't let it show on his cold, stony face. "Yes, they're great. Bunch of energetic balls of fur." He didn't feel like chatting to the cat, but he was lonely... so a bit of talk wouldn't hurt. "You'll be a great mentor for them, I'm sure."

Dew beamed. "Thank you! Ever since I was a youth I wanted to be a mentor for the apprentices. I had hoped to be a knight, but I understand why I'm a mage." She chirped. "As long as I get to mentor some of those energetic little cats!"

"Have the urge to leave the camp, eh?" Chronos chuckled. "You seem like you'll be a great mentor."

Dew smiled. "Thank you! Do you plan to mentor any apprentices?" Dew asked. "Look at them! They're just so cute!" She cried, watching them romp around and tackle.

"I can't mentor any apprentice, though I can help." Chronos meowed. "The rules of being legend."

"Ah. Yes, I remember now." Dew remarked. A gentle breeze rustled her grey fur. "Lovely weather today isn't it?" She commented. Dew was very social and loved to stop to chat.

"We're in a cave." Chronos said pointedly. "I haven't been out for a long time, so I don't know about the weather. How is it?"

"It's warm outside, and the cool breeze is blowing." She replied nonchalantly. "See, you can feel the wind in this cave," she remarked. The breeze rustled through her fur. "See?"

"You all know I don't go out much." Chronos remarked. "I wish I could once again."

Cherokee
He did not reply to Kai, but continued. His ear flicked as he thought about the youth only remaining on the defensive and not initiating any attacks. He supposed it was one way to prolong the battle until alliances came. Cherokee thought about it and decided to drag out his time as well, "Kai, Bo, do you not think you should be joining the mage who just went down the hunting tunnels alone talking about a badger?" his voice was quiet and icy, but directly referring to them without making eye contact.
Cherokee moved his frosted piece of moss backwards and around. He suspected a circling attack would be needed.

She flicked her tail a little happily at the Guides Apprentice knowing where they were, "We should split up here." she mewed, the wind buffing her black pelt which didn't keep out the cold it was so thin.
