Kaede sighed, laying his head down on the table. He'd rather be anywhere but here. Not to mention, he literally knew no one here, and he didn't plan on getting to know anyone either. A thought then occurred to him; why, of everyone, was this group of people chosen to interact? A timid girl, a shy one, another shy girl, some gangster ten-year-old, and himself. It was quite the group. In a bad way.

"I'm glade you could share this with us." The man said with a kind smile as he nodded to the boy whom he had called out. "But please watch your language. Darci? How about you go next?" The girl looked up at him shaking a bit as she did, eyes wide in terror. He called her out like that?! Why?!
"My,my day has been alright..." She started feeling the blades come out just a bit farther. Damn them! Myles watched her before placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey why don't we order a pizza? What toppings would everyone like?" He asked changing the subject.

Ping!

Saskia would've said cheese, but that was kinda a given..

Thorn looked uninterested.
"Pizza? Really? Which genius came up with an original idea like that?" He looked annoyed.
It's been forever since I've had pizza... Thorn thought to himself. His mouth watered at the thought, but was determined to be difficult.
"Who would want pizza?" He snorts at everyone.

"Sure," Mirage said, trying her best to be polite when the other two boys weren't. But she had her limits too. "Why not? I mean, pizza doesn't seem bad." She rested her head on her hand, hoping she wouldn't have to deal with this for longer than this meeting. "What were we supposed to be discussing anyway?"

"I just thought that if I ordered one for myself you guys would like to share it with me. It's perfectly fine if you don't want any." Myles said with a kind smile at Thorn. "And all we were doing is talking about how our days were."

"I helped Moma with an experiment."

Thorn huffs.
"Well I'd rather not starve," He says gruffly. Internally, however, he was glad for the excuse to eat the pizza. He still thinks about how he'd rather not share about his day. This idle talk is useless he thinks, not quite believing himself.

"Well, today I had a delicious breakfast of eggs and sausage. Later on, I went to class and studied the digestive processes of the Aedes albopictus. Then, earlier, I spent some of my lounge time with my tarantula, Fluffy, here. He showed me what a hornet looks like when it's about to be eaten," Zoe said nonchalantly.

Fluffy made some agree-able yummy sounds. They sounded like yummy sounds to Zoe since she was around him all the time, but to other people, it was unsettling.
