It stands for visibles. 5 vis = 10pt. The 4 visibles (8pt) ones are cheaper, and the difference is fancy trappings. If you want a specific amount of vis, tell me, since the oldest 5 vi Flutter just got reserved.

If you're alright with it being unable to breed, you can buy an infertile one for half off, so 12k or 15k. But for the sale, for example, you can get one flutter with 5 vis and one Ninth circle for free, or vice versa, or 1 Ninth Circle and 1 flutter of any kind for free, or 1 Whirlpool and 1 of anything else for free.
