Johan let out a sigh of relief. "Good, I'll be of some use then. If someone dies, I'll definitely win." He said the last part in a soft, almost whisper. Of course Johan cared too much for other people to actually hope for someone else's death, but at least if they were to suffer such losses it wouldn't be in vain.

Rune began to whisper again when they entered the main hall where the children where and red rabbit and the others " Well Gift Games are set forth by the Demon lords to duel each other, but any individual who wishes to challenge a god may do so directly and at any skill level..... Or at least that's what Red Rabbit taught me.." He said with a proud smile.

" Aye You more difficult to read than Vanishing Heathen... that's why we talk alone..." she said a tone of worry in her voice hearing his last statement clearly " Oh and ears are not decoration, you say it i hear it" she said her tone mellowing out again as she stepped onto the roof

Johan looked down at his feet and flushed slightly, though whether out of embarrassment or just his usual shyness it wasn't clear. "It's my gift... it works best if... if someone dies..."
It was after saying this that Johan finally got a sense of why he may have been brought here. He was the backup plan, if things went badly he was there to make the best of the situation. After all he would be of the most use if things did go badly for either side. If there wasnt any real risk of death he might as well have been a normal human, albeit an extremely mixed up one.

Javier (Blink)-

In all honesty he had no clue how to answer this. "I hope your judgement was right." Was all he said before falling silent once more. They had to win, for his own sake,he couldn't go back home even if it meant dying here.

The Indigo colored female sighed a bit as the moonlight peaked over the trees lighting the roof "Must be very handy, though I' sure that none of you will Die in the Game..." she said looking out over the horizon " What exactly is this Gift you have? How does it work?" she asked her ind already calculating where his next words would put him.

Johan stopped walking. His expression was suddenly very serious, nothing like the tentative cautious look he had worn up to this point. When he spoke there was no hesitation in his voice, the tone was flat and somewhat morbid. "When faced with death my mental and physical strength increase, thats all you need to know."

Red Rabbit smiled At Blink happy to see he had calmed down. Not long after her ears aught a noise from the hall "Oh hello Rune I see you returned with our other guest!" she said happily as the little ring tailed boy trotted over a big smile on his face followed by the dragon being. " Yes Ma'ma Just like you said!" he piped in a whisper before glancing around his ears twitching in concern " Red Rabbit... Where is Lady Liliana?" He asked flattening his ears Red Rabbit Gestured to the roof which brought a frown to the little ones face. " Oh.... Is Lady Liliana worried about our gift game? Is it because I have yo play this time?" He asked feeling a bit responsible for their Demon Lords mood. " No Dear she is just planing, Ya know how she is" Red Rabbit said assuring him.
