What are you looking to grow? I still have another fertilizer and some other stuff lying around that you can have! I already grew what I wanted, so I have no need for it anymore :3
If I can, I'll buy some more gems next month so maybe I can come by to buy some then.
The best advice I can offer for pricing is that you consider what feels right, and compare your time and effort spent with people's time and effort spent to come to a mutually fair result :D
And also, on the same hand, consider how important and valuable what you're looking to get is to you.
That's how I determine what I want for my art. :3
I take a VERY bare minimum of items/pets valued at 100k gold and above for a lined, single-color chibi for example. From ~400k on I'll put on normal flatcolors. 750k and above can get someone a shaded chibi if I really want what they're offering. Hope that helps :D

Man those prices seem so expensive, but I guess for someone who regularly does 10k art it makes sense...
And Neyite got me a Hydrangea :)

750k is a mere 3 dollars when converted, which is a third of my actual chibi price ($10), and I work on those for ~3 hours each, depending on the details. Maybe that helps put it in perspective a little better :3
You could rightfully charge several hundred thousands in gold yourself. I would pay such prices. And everybody who values your art for being the way it is will as well. >u<
Oooh nice! If you need extra pots to grow more at a time, my two pots are free! I just don't have the enrichments on hand to care for them right now, but it'll still get you two extra pots if you need them :)

I see what you're saying, and you ahve a valid point. Everything I say is from my own standpoint, my own view. I have two art shops, one with decently low prices, and the other free (but with a suggested tip). Now, I don't know about Th15sle. But personally, I have a lot of time and I love to do art just for the sake of creativity. If I get a couple thousand gold along with it, well, that's just a plus. I mostly aim to make my customers happy and sometimes even get featured on their profiles. For me, it's about doing what I love and making other people love it, too. However, not all people have my lifestyle. I don't know Th15sle's schedule. Maybe they are super busy and only do art to earn things on Sylestia. Maybe they are practicing for future art shops. Maybe they don't know why they are doing this, but they opened a shop one day out of complete boredom. I don't know. I'm just giving advice according to what I would do, and I'm sure that's what you are doing, too. Ultimately, it's up to Th15sle to make the decisions.

Ah, don't be mistaken. I do it because I love art as well. I too have a lot of free time on my hands due to some personal stuff. But if I just want to have fun and make people happy, I'll go and either draw personal characters or gift art. X)
I understand that you mean well, and that you just give advice based on how you see and feel about things, but I just ask you to understand that abysmally low prices hurt fellow artists. Again, I don't speak with any malice in my words, but it's the truth. Underpricing heavily damages the art selling community as a whole.
Because as we mentioned, why pay someone $5 if someone else will do the same work for 50 cents or less at a slightly lower quality? That is the thought of most customers. That hurts artists who work hard on their art and perhaps need it to support themselves financially. ; v ; I understand just wanting to do some art for fun to make people smile! I do that too! I love drawing gift art! But if that is the case, if you just wanna make someone smile or practice, offering a few pieces for free is less harmful than offering a constant supply of almost free art and lowering the price bar tremendously in the process.
See it this way: if we all work together to create a more even playing field for commission artists, we all get more out of it! Artists and customers alike :D
