How do you get essences? I'm a noob and don't have gold to buy them, and can't buy gems either.

You can find essences while nurturing hatchlings and eggs. You can also find them from battling. You can buy them from other players for gold on the broker or on the forums.
You can play this game without spending a cent.

I have a Draeyl essence that I don't need. Would be willing to take an offspring from one of your breeding projects. Or I'll just sell for gold.

Which offspring? And it would have to be infertile. I don't sell fertile personal projects and fertile themed are worth more than 1 non-fabled essence.

Yeah Whispering Forest is no problem at all. I've bred you an egg, so you will have the hatchling in three days. You can send the essence before or after, doesn't matter to me. Thanks!
