Emberstar raised her voice as the cats assembled. "I have offered a position in SunClan, to Rubydawn from StormClan." She stopped and lashed her tail, asking for silence. "Let my opinion, then you can voice yours. I think this would prove something to Stormstar, anger him. Or maybe use her in a bargain." She explained Rubydawn's situation. "Of course, I would ask him to remove the rule about mates. It's atrocious."

She tilted her head to the side, she would let the apprentice go. With a flick of an ear, she headed towards the lake. She spotted Ravenfeather with Rubydawn. She had noticed Ravenfeather's presence when she had found Rubydawn. She nodded ''Ravenfeather, may I have a moment?'' she asked.
