Mandy Yawned and curled up next to Zen laying her head on his chest Maybe this won't be so bad she thought before drifting off to sleep. Zen continued to rub the cat until he fell asleep as well

Lilac's ear kept twitching in the middle of the night and every once in awhile she could see a few grey mice running around.

He walked past, causing a racket.

Grey water.
Grey fish.
Grey grass.
Grey trees.
Crimson Bird.
Heron looked at that breathtaking creature, a beacon of light in a world of darkness. Where ever it went, he followed, mesmerised. But he had to eat. Pull your eyes away. He went back to stalking the grey fish in the grey water in a grey landscape.

He lunged and grabbed a fish. Success. He swallowed it whole in the way herons do, and not a moment too soon. The bird was awake and about to take off again. Heron quickly preened and got ready to follow.
