Amelia limped up the stairs, her leg stinging. "What's wrong? Did you get a nail in your leg too?" She grabbed all of her medicine out of her bag and sat besides his leg,"What happened?" Jo sprayed his leg and wrapped it,"I might be able to make something to help him walk..then I could find something else to help.." Amelia said in her own little medicine world.

The man winced when she touched his leg. "Bandits. Tied me up and cut me trying to get me to tell where the group was." Omid said looking from one of the group members to the others. "God...if you hadn't come I don't think I would be alive."

"I'm so sorry about your group members..." Amelia frowned while wrapping his leg,"What's you name? I'm Amelia, that is Zac, and the other girl is Pam."

"Omid." The man said with a smile. "Again thank you.." He winced as she touched the wound. "Nice to meet all of you."
"Not to break up your friendly chat but we have company!" Pam said climbing up the stairs. A distant shout could be heard as the bandits followed the blood trail. "****** we have to go!"
"But what about Omid? He can't walk!" Zac whisperd loudly.

Amelia stood,"I can carry him. You 2, can you hold them off? I hate to leave you to do this, but is we are going to save him we have to." She drew her bow and shot down one of them, making the bandits scream with anger, them coming faster. "You can do this, Zac. Stay with Pam. When you are finished here, I might be in the next town.." Jo helped Omid up and threw her bag on his shoulder,"You will have to half-walk."

"No." Zac said. "You may have just joined us but the group never splits up. That's a good way to end up dead." He looks the man other and picked him up. "Come on then." He huffed half jogging half running. Pam followed short behind them a sling shot in hand as she pelted the bandits with the nails from the porch.
"To the left up here!" Omid said half pointed from from where Zac had him draped around his shoulders. "There's an alleyway to the back of the house that leads to the sewers. If we get down there no one can find us." As told Zac veered down the alleyway.
"4H get the man hole cover." Zac huffed looking around them. Zombies were coming closer now the distant cries of the bandits not interesting them much.
"Roger that." The girl said taking the shovel and opening the cover. "After you Amelia. Me and Zac have to help Omid!"

"Okay, fine." Amelia ran to the alleyway. She climbed down the hole, cursing herself for letting them stay up and help. "Are you sure you don't need help up there?"

"We got it!" Pam shouted as she took Zac's gun to shoot the dead. "Just take Omid and meet us at the river! We have to split up there's no other way now!" Zac shoved Omid down onto the ladder before pulling the cover of the hole. Omid looked up as the shooting went on some then stopped. God had they...died? He looked down at the Amelia girl a concerted look on his face before he limped down the ladder rungs.
"I'm sure they are alright, they have survived this long have they not?" He asked a bit worried.

"Y-yeah.. I-Im sure they are alright..." Amelia was mostly reassuring herself. Once she got to the bottom of the ladder, she wrapped Omid's arm around her neck, and walked down the shaft. "So where you from Omid?" she tried making small talk.

The man leaned on her shoulder. "California, far way from home am I right? Came here to check out a once in a lifetime job offering, but you see where that got me." Omid sighed. "Not that far now, we should be getting close to the bunker."
