A. make a hatchet for her. Hatchets are cool. What could go wrong with giving an 8 year old child a hatchet? Nothing, that's what.

You hand Alexis the hatchet you made for her. She looks at you weirdly then grabs it. By the feel of carrying a weapon she dropped it on your foot. She goes wide eyed and says sorry so many times. You pick up the hatchet by the handle, luckily the sharp piece of the hatchet didn't fall on your foot. But the hard handle did. A tear ran your face, you tried not to show emotion for your foot.

A. Give the hatchet back to Alexis but move away from her in case she drops it again.
B. Give her the hatchet
C. Rest behind a tree while silently crying
D. Make Alexis go behind a tree while you help your foot
