Blaze reeled backwards, surprised and a bit embarrassed by the question. "Well, I may seem a bit older than I am, but I'm actually only the equivalent of a 13 or 14 year old human" She replied.

He continued calmly,"When we get out would you want to start a family? Like i did?"

Blaze had to think about it for a bit, but after a while she finally answered. "No, I don't think I'm really suited for that life. I like move around, go from place to place. Maybe make a few friends along the way and go back to visit them once in awhile, but not really settling in one place. But who knows? I'm a pretty go with the flow kind of cat. Maybe when I'm older I'll change my mind."

Meko looked at her in horror. "What did they do to you?" He asked. The pen he was in looked much like his home though it was not quiet cold enough. Already though his legs shook from the cold.

"Now i have a back and legs of a...spotless leopard! It's not all bad, i wonder if i could fly... Well worth a shot!"
She said as she leaped into the air and frantically flapping her wings, the weight and lack of balance sent her tumbling back down to the ground.

"You know, once i thought I'd never be in love or have cubs. You will love soon, you just need a spark of love for someone. Someday there will b kittens with fire in their eyes, just like you."

"Maybe, maybe not... there was this cat once. He stole a fish from me. He was kind of cute, with his lopsided smile. Looking back at me, staring me straight in the eyes, and then running away before I could rip his throat out." She said, smiling to herself.

"I wonder if I can swim..." Meko said looking at the water. He walked to it a looked at it. "How would one go about getting in the water?" He sighed and jumped in. It felt off, like he had so much more weight on him now that he was not able to swim. He paddled his feet and flicked his tail. Surfacing again he climbed clumsily from the water. "The water is so cold on my legs..."

"Because You have skinny leopard legs silly! Everyone knows that leopards hate water, but maybe you'll get used to it! I'm going to practice more flying," she leaped into the air, this time bending her legs tightly against her side and try ing to balance her body. It was hard, and it took awhile, but she finally made it to the water and the nest,"Hey Meko! Look i made it!"

He grunted,"Maybe you like him, maybe he likes you, we will see, won't we?" He said as he settled down on the ground,"Life is full of ups and downs, and things aren't always as they seem."

"Yeah... hey I wonder what happened to that bird and that .....fish...thing.... I hope they're okay!

Meko sighed and looked down at his new legs. "What are leopard good at?" He asked since she seemed to know more than him about the whole situation. "Well they are cars, maybe climbing?" No these legs had claws that stuck out all the time like a dogs. Dogs could run so maybe running? Meko narrowed his eyes as he crouched. The legs were powerful, and light when he ran though his tail go in the way, though he was still able to travel a heck of a lot faster than when he had flippers. He ran circle after circle around the cage seeing how faster the legs could go.
