Since I'm here I might as well post my dilemma. There's this girl I know that has an obvious crush on me, her dad's even told me. Problem is, I don't share the same feelings but like her as a friend. I fear that I've led these feelings on. I'm homeschooled and she's the only girl I know in life my age so I figured I will treat her nicely, I wrote her a cursive letter, I made her a homemade valentine, I gave her a beautiful birthday present. Now she really likes me. Looking back on what I've done I feel like a horrible person. I'm only 15, she's only 13 yet her dad's asking me when I'm going to start dating her. She's a very bright, beautiful and talented girl, I just can't understand why the feelings of love haven't hit me yet. I'd absolutely hate to hurt her feelings. Please help. :(

I'm sorry this had to happen to you, but sometimes people just have to be let down gently. Maybe you should explain to her dad how you feel, and take her somewhere as just friends and then explain it to her. That would probably be the bigger move.
