Soaria's face lit up. "A mystery?!" She almost shrieked. "Mysteries are cool!" She hopped about, and a few flames burst into the air. "Who else is here? I mean. Besides Alice." She gestured to the green-haired teen, who was leaning against a wall and analyzing her surroundings.

Hunrin heard a loud cry from inside the house. He put down his "drawing" in the pile of fallen strokes. What he had managed to keep on the figure stuck out in all directions, making it look more like a porcupine than a human figure. Hunrin stood and walked over to the house, his drawing pad tucked safely under his arm. Hesitating slightly, he quietly knocked. Maybe the figures inside were in trouble?

She was sitting down in her tail trying to tame her twitching tail while some new kids arrived. It appeared one was part dragon. "Hello newcomers," she said as her tail kept twitching. She glared at it, why wouldn't it listen to her? She growled angrily. It was so frustrating. "How do you control tails?" she asked Ginger. "I don't really know, it comes naturally," Ginger said. She sighed.

Yang waved at the newcomers. "Hey. As you know I am Yang, and this is my house. Don't go in the back room unless you want a crying Yang with grey eyes and screaming."

Alice snickered. "Yeah, I'm not goin' in back." She covered her mouth with her hand and was wearing a sly and mischievous expression.

Soaria was curious. "Why can't we go in back?" She asked.

Yang's voice cracked,"That's where my parents are lying dead."

"Oh..." Her emerald eyes turn watery as she tries holding back her tears. "That's right...I tried being nice to my siblings this morning, but...they all died in their beds, with sweet little smiles on their faces!" Her ears droop and tears drip down her face, and she shrinks down to about three feet tall as she bawls over her loss.

Yang walked over to the couch to see what was happening with Skyla. "Found out anything yet?"

Kim cries for a few minutes more, then wipes away her tears. "Everyone here has losses. Yang, Skyla...I do, too. But what we have to deal with now is how and why we became mutated. If we figure that out, maybe we can find new ways of controlling our powers." As she speaks, she thumbs away something at the edge of her mouth, leaving a red streak against her pale grey skin.
