Dang, it was in the 90's today for me too)
Jax took her in his arms, the move only to help comfort her. He tucked her head under his jaw and rubbed her back. "Hey, shh, it's okay." He bent and scooped her into his arms, cradling her against his chest as he walked into the living room. he sat on the couch, still rubbing her back as he let her cry.

Rei glanced behind her and was surprised to see the kangaroo following her. She got over the shock quickly, winked at him then jumped and grabbed a railing, swinging herself up and landing in a crouch on the edge of the roof. She looked at him again and waited a minute before walking to the opposite edge and sitting down, her form silhouetted by the lights from the city.

Glen was getting a bit ahead of himself now. He followed only to find himself a bit short of the rooftop. In a desperate attempt to save himself he caught ahold of the roof edge. His body hit the side of the rock wall with a thud and a gasp for air as it left him winded. He fought to hold one, no yet making a move to pull himself up.

(*dramatic sob*)

Ghost buried her face in Jax's chest, feeling her chest constrict a little as it got harder and harder to breathe. Her heart was racing and sweat and tears matted her fur. She kept trying to take deep breaths but it was getting harder and harder.

(This moment comea from a lot of personal experiance with panic attacks, anxiety, and PTSD)

Rei heard a grunt and stood, running over to the side of the roof where she had climbed up and saw the kangaroo hanging from the edge, looking winded. Her eyes widened and she knelt down to help him up, wrapping her hands around his forearms and pulling.

Jax situated her to sit on the couch then left for a second to get a clean warm rag then began to wipe her face, hoping the warmth of the rag would help calm her down. Damn, where was Rei when you needed her. Though he did have experience with girls crying it still made him uncomfortable. He knelt in front of her and took her hand in his while he continued his gentle administrations.

Ghost soon calmed down as Jax gently wiped down her face and muzzle. Her paws still ahook a little bit that was just a natural reflect. She kept her eyes trained on her paws and she whispered "Im sprry you had to see that..."

Jax shook his head. "Don't worry about it. Are you okay? Do you want some ice cream? We have chocolate peanut butter and strawberry." He gave a small lopsided smile.

Ghost instantly perked up at the mentiom of ice cream and she grinned like a little pup "peanut butter one please! I havent had ice cream in forever!!"

Bone padded through the streets calmly, his hood pulled over hos face, hiding it from prying eyes. Most ran away at the sight of his appearence and he would rather not go to jail again.

Jax grinned at how she perked up. "Okay, give me a minute." He stood and went into the kitchen, getting down a bowl and taking the ice cream out of the freezer. He heaped two large scoops into the bowl, replaced the ice cream then brought it out to her with a spoon. "Here."
