Haha, yeah, I watched it so long ago but I more recently found out that I just like 'transported to another world type stories' in general. Even so, I think that one was particularly well-done.

Danganronpa is a fantastic anime! It's not on netflix but it's on dubhappytv and has only 13 episodes, but it is a violence anime. The blood is pink though, so that's some sort of censorship.

Boku no Pico...

I've heard some BAD things 'bout that one... (unless you're into that, of course.)

On the other hand, did you enjoy Noragami? ^^

My favorites are actually mostly slice of life rather than the ones commonly seen... Also ones with music tend to get liked by me... But I have seen/do like ones like Noragami and Soul Eater.

In no order (some I call by their english names, others I don't):
1. Your Lie in April
upside: everything! (almost XD Kaori's name is part of my screen name)
downside: ...I think there was way too big a gap in the appearance of their 11 year old selves and 14 year old selves. The 11 year olds looked more like 5 ~.~"

2. Nagi no Asukara
upside: The art. Seriously. And the plot, excluding most of the romance because:
downside: I thought that the massive love web was a bit much, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

3. Kyoukai no Kanata
upside: the plot. AND THE SEQUEL MOVIE.
downside: I'm just personally not that big a fan of the constantly brought up "Aki likes girls with glasses" thing buuuut... What did I expect from a Shonen?

I grew up with Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Yugioh (does anyone watch this anymore? There seem to be so many now!) Pokemon and Digimon.

Madoka is literally my favorite. If I were going to start cosplaying again, it'd be Madoka. (n_n)

Hahaha! I watched Boku no Pico so many years ago. I was just a kid (maybe 14?) and it was "cool" for the shock factor. It still amuses me when I think about it.
